Party in my mouth

On the other day I was craving for pineapple tart! I wassap my husband asked him to get me the tart nenas from one restaurant in our neighbourhood and you know wut? Less than in 2 minutes he's step in our door, didn't read my wassap text! Wuarghhhh

Since I badly want the tart nenas, I make him went to that restaurant soon after Maghrib prayer. Thanks papa!

Back home, I make myself hot tea and gobble up the tart nenas. ALONE. Bahahaha. So heavenly yummy. I had a party in my mouth!

And yesterday, one of my neighbour ( the only malay neighbour) droped by and handed over her home-made croissant. Masyallah sungguh sedap dan panas-panas! Alhamdulillah rezeki orang mengandung

>Love<

Someone got excited too ;)

Unisex or Boyish?

So I cannot wait for my baby's gender to start buying some new clothes. As what many people did, buy the unisex clothes! Avoid pink color, any prints with flower, boat, car or anything with these kind of words 'my lil princess', 'handsome', 'mommy's boy', 'daddy's girl'. You definitely don't want to end up dress your baby boy with jumpsuit wrote 'mommy's princess'. Bahahaha

>_<

I chose (and of course bought it) some outfits according to my eyes are unisex.

Hehe, not too boyish right?

All from Paddington Bear for babyGap except for the chambray button one piece

all these on SALE now!

By the way, I used to dress Sophie with a boyish outfit too when she was a baby

p/s  I'm hoping for Prince George malay version. Ngee

.Love.

Water rationing, leisure friday and 16th weeks

Alhamdulillah Friday is here again and we're on April already, how time flies like an arrow

Talk about this blissful Friday I have a leisure day- minimal cooking and minimal house chore. Why? haha we have been informed for the water rationing around Klang Valley for a month! and since our house fall under category Gombak Zon-4 the takde air day is gonna start today. So we husband and wife bersiap siaga with all the tong air besar sampai 3 and we start tadah air for the past 2 days. But you know what, yesterday one of the cleaner of our condo building told me  'ohh tingkat 4 ke bawah saja takde air, tingkat atas semua ada'

..Gulp..

As for the preparation, I did all the laundry, clean all my ikan and sayur just in case no water. But suddenly we've been told for not to worry as our condo's tangki air can afford for 2 days of no water. Bahahaha. I think it's quite funny la jugak sebab tak penah takde air kat sini, so a lil bit excited jugak nak merase catuan. Ohh man, I'm eager to shower and cook with minimal water but my husband said takpelah we just prepare just in case tiba2 takde air macam mana kan. Jangan dicurahkan air2 tu sudahla jangan jadi macam pepatah melayu "guruh di langit, air ditempayan dicurahkan" just in our case not tempayan but tong air merah

>_<

Yummy since all the house chores considered settle so mommy have some leisure time for some good books! I just purchased these two last week. Ok now on chapter 5 of Step Back In Time

and I change my blog for a fresh look. Takde keje

For my pregnancy, Alhamdulillah now I'm on week 16= 4 months. My tummy getting bigger, sikit hari lagi Insyallah nampaklah the baby bump. Baby ok, just a slight thing makes me worried during last week antenatal check-up but my obygn said no need to worry, kita sama-sama doa everything will be fine

No matter on what number the baby is, the worries tu tetap ada kan. Our baby means our heart and blood. They grow inside us, only us mother can feel the insecure feelings and sometimes we can just be over worried. I'm trying to remain calm and pray a lot to Allah SWT. Same goes when I was pregnant with Sophie, risau je manjang if possible nak scan the baby everyday! haha typical mom kan

That's all for this Friday's babbling. See you again! salam

35 Weeks Pregnancy

By this stage, your baby doesn't have much room to roam. Your little one is so snug in your uterus that you may notice he doesn't seem to be moving around as much anymore. Don't be surprised if you see an arm, elbow or knee poking against the skin of your tummy as he stretches and squirms, though. His head may drop down into your pelvis ready for birth - this is known as "engagement" - although some babies, especially second or later ones, don't engage before labour begins.

Your baby now weighs about 5.25 pounds / 2.4 kilograms and measures approximately 18 inches / 45 centimetres from head to toe. His elbow, foot or head may protrude from your stomach when he stretches and squirms about. Soon, as the wall of your uterus and your abdomen stretch thinner and let in more light, your baby will begin to develop daily activity cycles.

This week, your little one is now sporting fingernails and has a fully developed pair of kidneys. His liver can also process some waste products.

There's much less amniotic fluid and much more baby in your uterus, which has expanded to a thousand times its original size. You've probably put on between 25 and 30 pounds / 11 and 13.6 kilograms and your weight gain has hit its peak. Even your belly button has got bigger and has popped outward. You may be feeling breathless now that the top of your uterus is up under your ribs. Try getting down on all fours to take deeper breaths. Although the pressure on your bladder will make the bathroom your second home, don't drink any less water - your baby needs the fluids. But you may like to cut down on diuretic drinks such as tea and coffee, which will make you have to urinate even more often.

Your doctor will probably want to start seeing you every week until you give birth.

My pregnancy so far

Alhamdulillah my pregnancy hits 33rd weeks already. Means that i still have 7 weeks at least to go..Uwaaa..it's a mixed feelings of exciting and terrifying. Everything's on a right track so far.. Baby ok and i'm ok ;) Just juggle with my own feeling..sakit macam mana ler beranak ni yer..mmm..someday i can be a positive vibes, some other day very down and scared...apa pun semoga Allah SWT melindungi aku dan si kecik kat dalam ni..semoga dipermudahkan semuanya. Itulah yang sering aku titipkan setiap kali usai solat. Amin..

Getting bigger me!

My "si kecik" progress so far :-

Your baby now weighs about 4.2 pounds / 2 kilograms and measures approximately 17 inches / 44 centimetres from head to toe. Your baby should already be getting ready for birth by turning upside-down - his head should be pointing down.
Your baby's skull is still quite pliable and not completely joined, so he can ease out of the relatively narrow birth canal. But the bones in the rest of his body are hardening. Your baby's skin is also gradually becoming less red and wrinkled.

If you're a first-time mother, your child's head may move into the pelvis this week and press firmly against your cervix. (This happens for about half of all first-time mothers.) If you're a second-time mum, you can expect this to happen a week before labour - and for some this won't happen until the start of labour. Hoping to manage your labour naturally? Here's all you need to know about natural pain relief.

You may notice that your feet and ankles are quite swollen by the end of the day. Water retention, also known as oedema, is often worse in warm weather and late in the day. Surprisingly, keeping hydrated helps reduce water retention. Your body - particularly your kidneys - and your baby need plenty of fluids, so drink up. If you suddenly feel swollen or puffy in your hands or face, however, call your doctor - it may be a sign of pre-eclampsia.

Bed rest

Life on the sofa has never been so busy..

My current reading, BED REST by Sarah Bilston (her first novel). Actually this is my 3rd time reading this book. The first time, 4 years back. Yet married and just read as reading the normal novel. Second time was this year during 3 months pregnancy. And now read it again as i can more feel the character's feeling. It’s hilarious and we can get some info of the final stage pregnancy like what i experiences right now!

The story is about Quinn 'Q' Boothroyd, a busy successful young English lawyer married to the gorgeous Tom and living in New York. But when her doctor tells her she has to spend the last three months of her pregnancy on bed rest. Quinn is thrown into a tailspin by the idea of losing her social and professional life.

Initially bored and frustated, Quinn gradually finds herself  re-examining her world-her marriage, relationships with family and friends, and her job.

I love to qoute some interestings para's from this book :-

I can still be the person  I thought I was twelve hours ago, a woman who had checked off at least some of the important boxes on the Modern Woman's List of Things To Do Before Hitting Thirty, that mental list all late-twenty-somethings carry around with them

  • Get good job
  • Marry handsome man with good job
  • Have healty bank balance
  • Get pregnant
I have no life now, and i'll never have a life again. I might as well face the facts. My youth is over. This is simply a taste of what's to come. I'm not 'me' any more; i'm not a lawyer, I'm not Tom's lover, I'm a body , a vehicle, an incubator..my own life has effectively ended. Bed rest just means it ended a little earlier than expected.

Thirty-two kicks since I finished my last chocolate brownie. I will clearly be able to retire and live on my child's earnings as a footballer. I'll be one of those mothers in the front row with a loudhailer and T-shirt emblazoned with her son's image.

and she mentioned a lot about goooddd food!hehe..really make me cravings for those

...Tom left a mound of sandwiches made with outrageously expensive cheese from Zabar's (he made a quilt -inspired shopping dash on his way home from work yesterday afternoon to buy me a big crumbling hunk of White Cheshire)...

Last night we had spinach lasagne, the evening before we had duck casserole, and she made a big pot of apple and parsnip soup for lunch today. She's promised to make more and leave it in the freezer before she goes, together with wholegrain rolls. Yum

Ok, gonna go now to continue reading..blast!

Mom to be: Part 4

Sekarang ni masuk stage "everything not in a right place" senang cerita serba-serbi tak kena. Jalan salah, baring salah, duduk salah, tidur pun salah. Si kecik kat dalam ni makin aktif..siang dan malam keje menendang je.asal mommy baring je dia tunjuk tanda protes dengan tendang, tumbuk, menyiku semua adalah tak bagi kita tido..bila duduk sandar kat katil atau jalan2 pusing satu rumah baru dia ok..Macam semalam langsung tak boleh tido, sebab dia tak mau tido langsung..Pagi dia tido barulah mommynya boleh tido.

Kalau masa pergi jalan lain plak peel dia..tak duduk diam jugak tapi suka duduk tengah perut dekat pusat dan stretching kan kaki dia..Kiranya memenuhi ruangla..Kita nak jalan pun susah. Tapi bila ditanyakan pada doktor, katanya bagusla tu tandanya baby sihat dan aktif..Adoiii tapi seksa maknya. Harap2 keluar nanti takmo naughty2 sgt tau ye sayang!

Heart burn pun boleh tahan. Asal terlebih makan sikit mesti sakit lebih2 lagi masa baring..Oren jus langsung tak boleh minum sebab akan jadi lagi teruk. Rugi dah kat situ sebab satu2nya sumber vitamin C aku dari situlah sebab kurang makan buah kecuali epal sajo..Tapi petua orang tua kata, kena makan biskut dan minum madu..Alhamdulillah aku cuba, berjaya.

Semalam pegi antenal check-up dah masuk 31 minggu maknanya next friday akan masuk 8 bulan lah..doktor cakap baby dah turun ke bawah just belum engaged lagi.Normally dia akan engaged pada minggu ke-34..mak takut..gagagugu....Berat si kecik ni sekarang 1.5kg..alahai keciknya anak mommy ni.Tapi doktor kata normal untuk 31st week baby.. Olorrr doktor ni manjang je positif. Bukanla mintak yang negatif tapi kalau asyik duduk dalam comfort zone je takut jugak.

By the way, aku nak share kata2 semangat dari kawan baik aku Weini yg now reside in Auckland New Zealand. She's a mother to 2 boys. So experience dah 2 kali okehh

  • Hii dear..
now i have time to write abit to you.. my 2 boys still sleeping... erm.. u look pretty la .. comel plak masa pregnant.. bb girl sure pretty like mommy.. i know at this stage maybe you might having the pain everyhwere on yr body and abit uneasy. and sleep disorder.. is like that, masa aku pregnant dulu pun sama.. aku teruk, sakit sini sana, perut gatal, cannot sleep at all for the whole night, and makan pon tak boleh. So, u have another 2 more months to go.. jia yuk!!! take it easy and relax, happy happy always, jangan tension and mikir banyak banyak... time nak datang , baru fikir ya. Now just practice yr breathing, do the breathing exercise every time, breath in through yr mouth and breath out through yr nose. Time baby nak kluar if u can manage the breathing very easy. pratice the breathing so that u will hv more strength to push yr baby out! Please go for natural birth as u can ok! Sakit tuh mesti sakit, but just for a time being only ok. Do more walking now, but dont walk too long. Just calm down and dun be stress... when pain come, dun think that you can't make it, tahan jugak ya, be strong and control your breathing as u practice always. Aih.. aku cakap pandai.. aku masa nak beranak 2nd bb, whole hospital aku jerit boleh dengar... lolz! anyway dont worry ya... u will know the feeling dear.. relax! No Pain No Gain ya!!! Just for a time being.. I will talk to you again sometime.. nih aku write campur aduk blaka, coz worry my jaden wake up!
